Login

Open the DigiVC public URL and enter your username and password. If an administrator created the account with a temporary password, WEB/Admin may require an immediate password change.

The Desktop Client will not allow repository operations until a mandatory password change has been completed in WEB/Admin.

Main navigation

Every authenticated user can see:

  • Dashboard — recent revisions, locks and validation results;
  • Projects — accessible projects and repositories;
  • Reports — analytics when the reporting module is licensed;
  • Help — the integrated Help Base.

A system administrator additionally sees:

  • Users;
  • Groups;
  • Audit;
  • Backup / Restore;
  • Localization;
  • Import / Migration;
  • Operations;
  • System.

Roles

A role can be granted to a user or group at three levels:

  1. Project — inherited by repositories in the project;
  2. Repository — applies to the complete repository;
  3. Path — applies to a specific folder/file and optionally its descendants.

Typical roles include owner, maintainer, developer and reader/auditor. The exact role catalog is provided by the server.

Language and theme

Use the top bar to select:

  • English or Bulgarian;
  • System, Light or Dark theme.

Preferences are stored for your DigiVC account.

Contextual help

The ? button opens help for the current page. The full Help Center can be searched by topic and operation.

Example

User “maria” may be:

  • Developer on project “ERP”;
  • Maintainer only on repository “Documentation”;
  • Reader for path /contracts in repository “Server”.

This gives precise access without granting system-administrator rights to everyone.
