Digi Control documentation
Hardware overview and catalogue
CPU, memory, storage, network, controllers, GPU, BMC and sensors.
What it covers
- The catalogue can include CPU sockets/cores/threads, memory/ECC, block devices/filesystems/mounts, NVMe/SATA/SAS health, RAID/HBA, NICs, GPU, system/chassis/baseboard, BMC/IPMI/Redfish and temperature/power/cooling sensors.
- Interactive component detail shows stable ID, vendor/model/serial, parent-child topology, driver/firmware, lifecycle, evidence coverage, findings, timeline and open cases.
- Snapshot comparison detects missing/replaced/hotplug/firmware/topology changes.
How to use it
- Refresh.
- Select a component.
- Review identity/topology.
- Compare snapshots.
- Open a finding/case.
Important rules
- Not every change is a defect.
- A replacement candidate is a recommendation.
- A VM can hide physical identity.
