WEB Software — package search and management
Search, plan, install, update, repair/reinstall and remove through WEB.
What it covers
- The page shows the detected native package backend and readiness.
- Search finds package names, partial names/descriptions, products/modules and permitted local RPM/bundle targets.
- Plan/Preview shows dependencies, install/upgrade/remove/downgrade, core/system impact, source/signature and reboot likelihood.
- Execute shows talking progress, phase, backend output and final result; success is followed by registry reconciliation.
How to use it
- Enter an exact keyword.
- Compare name/version/architecture/summary/repository.
- Run Plan.
- Execute and follow progress.
- Check Services/Module registry/reboot.
Important rules
- An empty result can mean wrong name, inactive repository, stale metadata or edition/profile.
- Do not start a second operation with an active lock.
- Do not bypass source policy.
