Automatic mail rules
Creating, prioritising and manually applying rules to mail.
Creation
From Webmail → Rules, create a rule with a name, condition and action. Conditions may use sender, recipient, subject or content depending on the current release. An action may move a message or direct it to Spam or Quarantine.
Priority
Rules execute in a defined order. Place more specific conditions before broad ones. Two overlapping rules may produce an unexpected destination folder.
Test
After saving, use Apply on existing messages only for a limited set. Verify the outcome before applying a broad rule.
Troubleshooting
If a message was moved incorrectly, review active rules and their order. Disable or correct the specific rule, move the message back to the right folder and confirm with a new test.
