Modules and feature control
Effective state, dependencies, requested state and controlled overrides.
Modules screen
From Admin → Modules, view system modules, effective state, requested state, licence state, source and dependencies. The core module is mandatory and cannot be disabled.
How effective state is derived
State may depend on:
- the active licence and licensed modules;
- a system or manual override;
- trial, grace or hard-lock mode;
- Nextera plan or feature assignment;
- dependency on another module.
Override
For a non-core module, an operator may set licensed override, enabled override, source, notes and configuration JSON. Use an override only for a clear operational reason. An incorrect override can create divergence between licence, plan and the actual running component.
After Save, verify effective state, the related service and the user-facing screen. Record why the change was made and when it should be removed.
