Migration jobs — control and recovery

Create a job

From Admin → Migration, choose Create Job, set the source type, domain or mailbox scope and required configuration. Confirm that staging data is ready before processing begins.

Monitoring

Job detail shows total items, completed, failed, current state, attempts and error details. Watch the trend, not only the final percentage. Many identical failures usually indicate a shared mapping or permission problem.

Actions

• Pause — stops claiming new items without damaging completed work.
• Resume — continues after the cause has been corrected.
• Cancel — stops planned work according to policy.
• Retry failed — resubmits only failed items.
• Recover stale — releases expired claims after the worker is checked.

After completion

Compare totals, failed items, folder structure, flags, dates, checksums and mailbox quota. Do not accept a migration solely because the job state is completed.
