Nextera integration

Standalone or connected mode, plans, assignment, usage sync and safe detach behaviour.

Modes

DES can operate standalone or connected to Nextera. In connected mode, Nextera may supply plans, limits, feature flags and desired state for managed domains.

Admin → Integrations → Nextera

The screen supports:

  • selecting integration mode;
  • saving or synchronising plans;
  • assigning a plan to a domain;
  • usage synchronisation;
  • reviewing current connection state.

Boundaries

Nextera must not become the source of truth for mail messages, folders, queue execution or local security decisions. These belong to DES. Nextera manages the service and entitlement.

Detach

During detach, DES must preserve a valid local state and continue independently according to its licence. Before detaching, record current plans, assignments and usage, then verify domains, modules and outbound policy.
