Daily administration runbook

A concise sequence for checking DES without making chaotic changes.

Start of shift

  1. Open Admin Dashboard and review visible warnings.
  2. Check effective licence mode and SMTP state.
  3. Review Mail Flow for failed, retry and stale entries.
  4. Review Workflow and Migration for stuck jobs.
  5. Check office-node heartbeats and monitoring alerts.
  6. Review high-severity security and quarantine events.
  7. Check quota and capacity warnings.

During an incident

Work from identifiers and a timeline. Do not restart every service or requeue in bulk. First determine which component stopped and the last confirmed step.

End of shift

Record unresolved incidents, manual overrides, retry actions and planned follow-up. Leave the system without temporary debug settings and without unnecessary open administrative sessions.
